    Lubug’s Academy Outreach is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization partnering with , S.T.A.R.R Community Service, Fight 2 Feed, and the Jaylnn & Javaris Foundation. Through these collaborations, we provide spiritual support, educational resources, housing assistance, childcare services, and social programs for youth, teens, and young adults. Committed to combating hunger, we work with Fight 2 Feed to ensure children receive meals when schools are closed.

      LuBug's Mission

       Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children and youth during out-of-school hours. Through engaging activities, academic support, and opportunities for personal growth, we aim to empower every child to reach their full potential. We are committed to fostering creativity, building life skills, and inspiring confidence, while promoting a sense of community, inclusion, and lifelong learning. 

      LuBug's Vision

       To create a thriving community where all children and youth have access to transformative out-of-school time experiences that empower them to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, preparing them to lead fulfilling lives and contribute positively to the world.

      • Offer a variety of programs that encourage creativity, critical thinking, leadership, and collaboration through activities like arts, STEM, sports, and team projects.

      • Equity and Inclusion:

      In 2024 LuBug's Academy Outreach, Rhema Church International, and Fight 2 Feed served 16,000 hot meals in the Greater Roseland Community.

      Annual Block Club Party

      Each year, we host our Annual Community Block Club Celebration to bring families and neighbors together while giving back to our community. This free event provides meals, snacks, drinks, and family-friendly activities, including bounce houses, pony rides, games, face painting, and more.

      This year, we were proud to prepare and provide 400 free meals to children, families, and community members. Our annual Block Club is one of the many ways we work to fight food insecurity, strengthen community connections, and create a safe, welcoming space where families can enjoy time together at no cost.
